Automatic Knife Sharpener

I designed and manufactured an automatic knife sharpener. I did this to apply all of the kinematic and force analysis that I learned in the Dynamics of Machines class. I used matlab to calculate the position, velocity, acceleration, and jerk and minimized the amount of jerk. I also used matlab to calculate the forces on each link and minimized the amount of stress on each link to increase product lifetime.
